A Comparison of Different Remote Sensors for Ramie Leaf Area Index Estimation

چکیده
Leaf area index (LAI) is an important parameter indicating crop growth. At present, spectral technology has developed into a popular means for LAI monitoring, which can provide accurate estimation results by constructing model with information and ground value. Spectral range data type may affect the performance of model, but few studies have compared accuracy using different sensors, especially in ramie. In this study, we potential to estimate ramie hyperspectral sensor multispectral sensor. A handheld airborne were used collect from multiple growth stages, then four machine learning algorithms construct model. The showed that R2 was 0.702, while 0.816. cropped less sensitive than same band, due result radiation type. constructed all stage improved (R2 = 0.828). conclusion, multi-spectrometer more suitable monitoring field.

Retrieving Leaf Area Index (LAI) Using Remote Sensing: Theories, Methods and Sensors
The ability to accurately and rapidly acquire leaf area index (LAI) is an indispensable component of process-based ecological research facilitating the understanding of gas-vegetation exchange phenomenon at an array of spatial scales from the leaf to the landscape. However, LAI is difficult to directly acquire for large spatial extents due to its time consuming and work intensive nature. Such e...
متن کاملHyperspectral Vegetation Indices for Estimation of Leaf Area Index
Spectral vegetation indices are frequently used to estimate vegetation biophysical/biochemical characteristics. In general they have been proposed to reduce spectral effects caused by external factors such as the atmosphere and the soil background. This study evaluated narrow band vegetation indices for estimation of vegetation leaf area index. The study takes advantage of using a dataset colle...
متن کاملUsage of Lidar Data for Leaf Area Index Estimation
Leaf area index (LAI) can be measured either directly, using destructive methods, or indirectly using optical methods that are based on the tight relationship between LAI and canopy light transmittance. Third, innovative approach for LAI measuring is usage of remote sensing data, especially airborne laser scanning (ALS) data shows itself as a advisable source for purposes of LAI modelling in la...

Although there are several parameters of interest in the quantitative aspects of vegetative remote sensing, leaf area index (LAI) has been one of the most useful and important parameters to characterize the vegetation activities from local to global scales. LAI, defined as the sum of the leaf area per unit ground area, can be used to measure the activities (photosynthesis, transpiration, and ev...
